All suites at The Club are air-conditioned and have natural daylight.

VFX Compositing / Grading

Our artistic team of VFX compositors work with an amazing range of creative tools to ensure your project is finished with amazing results. No project is too demanding here!

With both Smoke and Flame, we have arguably the world’s most powerful, comprehensive and integrated compositing, editing, graphics and effects system there is, working in SD or HD.

The Club has a great knowledge of the Avid range and DS Nitris is no exception. It provides the ultimate editing, compositing and effects tool for both long and short-form projects. The system offers unlimited layers and can work in SD, HD or 2K. Your workflow can be kept in the Avid environment throughout, moving seamlessly from Avid offline straight through to DS Nitris.

We have a huge experience in utilising all this power to create some of the most eye-catching short-form material around.

Design / GFX

Every short-form project requires a graphics element to help tell the story and, more importantly, create impact. Our designers can produce fabulous 2D and 3D motion graphics, alongside our VFX team, to ensure that our clients' design ideas are brought to life.

Utilising the power of Adobe's After Effects and Creative Suite, in conjunction with all our compositing and editing systems, we can create motion graphics for titles, idents, promos, commercials or CGI.

Working independently to a brief or in tandem with your creative team, our designers will add value to your project, helping you to create a vibrant, impactful and, above all, consistent design.

Audio Design / Music Composition

The Club's audio suite is based around the Digidesign ProTools HD3 system. Combined with the amazing talents of our sound designer we can give your project the audio impact it deserves. This system can provide you with anything from stereo to 5.1 and Dolby surround sound.

The ProTools system also provides us with a track-laying suite which has access to a huge royalty-free sound effects library. It also works in conjunction with our voice-over booth to provide recording wild or to picture. The booth has line of sight to the audio suite and also benefits from natural daylight.

For those special projects which require a more bespoke audio element, you can also benefit from the musical composition genius of our sound designer.

Editing

Using The Club's Avid Media Composers, our editing team can utilise a wide range of sources including HDcam, DVCPro HD, P2, XDCam or DigiBeta and offer audio and video monitoring to full broadcast specification. All of our Media Composers are connected to Unity LanShare, which means you've got access to a huge amount of storage and, if time is tight, you can work on the same project in several suites at once.

Our editors can achieve fantastic results working with Avid's realtime finishing systems Symphony and Symphony Nitris. Both offer an uncompressed non-linear environment which can be a perfect finishing tool for your project, with Symphony Nitris able to work in HD.

We can also produce great results using Final Cut Pro, Apple's high-performance digital non-linear editing suite. Providing native support for virtually any video format, Final Cut Pro gives you more creative options and technical control than ever before.

In our tapeless world it's also good to know that there's a Digital Linear suite on hand when you need one. Our DigiBeta suites offer seamless layering with powerful Collage graphics. We can also add as many machines as you would like (wihtin reason).

Other services

Our fully-equipped machine room can offer tape duplication facilities across all major formats including HDcam, DVCproHD, DigiBeta, Beta SX, Beta SP, DVCpro, DVD, etc.

We can also provide standards conversion and aspect ratio conversion.

Full DVD duplication and replication facilities are also available offering a range of quantity and delivery encoding options to meet your exact specifications.
